Honoring our son, Noah Wilde
Our ministry was inspired by my second son, Noah Wilde, who went to be with Jesus at 35 weeks. Noah was born still on March 9, 2021.
After his birth, I connected with many online support groups for parents that have experience stillbirth, infant loss and pregnancy loss, I found a common theme that surprised me..
Families wanted to share their baby's story and photos but simply didn't because they thought it would make others "too uncomfortable". Others often included family and friends. I quickly realized that I, too, felt that way.
Since then, I was on a mission to find a company that created faith-based child loss prints for grieving families. I found some memorial keepsakes but nothing quite like I envisioned. The baby remembrance gifts that I found were very colorful and full of sappy quotes.
I wanted a remembrance keepsake that was classic, yet modern. I wanted a keepsake that was one-of-a-kind and 100% unique. A gift that would be customizable to each baby and tell their beautiful story. Then I started envisioning a baby memorial of Noah; one that was hanging in our home. Openly displayed for everyone to see. One that included his sweet photo and his dainty birth details. All things that many bereaved parents don't get the joy of sharing.
I visualized the meaning behind his name being highlighted, along with his birth flower, birthstone, and the season he was born. I saw his name in a big, bold, timeless font at the top, with encouraging scripture intermingled on the page. I, also, wanted the ability to blur the hospital background so Noah was the main focus. As a mom, I wanted the option to gently retouch a few spots on his face that were slightly bruised and any places where his skin was breaking down and changing.
What paper did I see these memorials being printed on? Textured cardstock was my first choice. A premium quality paper that was made to last for years and years. Free of lignin and acid; paper that wouldn't turn yellow or fade and inks that would capture even the smallest of details to perfection.
And that is how Mother of Wilde's child loss prints were born..
Our memorial gifts honor these sweet babies and their legacy that will live on through their families. It gives bereaved families an opportunity to share their child's photo and story. Our loss keepsakes can be completely customized with their child's details and, eventually, displayed in their home, instead of photos hidden away in a box in the attic.
Our mission is to encourage bereaved moms and dads to share their baby's story. My hope is that through our baby remembrance gifts, we can point families to the joy, healing, and peace that can only come from Jesus.
